Mechanicsburg Op Sessions:

Second Monday of each month Beginning at 7:30 PM (Club is open at 7 PM).  (NEW 1/25/2012)  The club now has a new heating/cooling system keeping the building at a comfortable temperature for all meetings and events!!!!

 Public and perspective club members are invited to view the operating sessions. The Keystone Midland operates a Digitrax DCC System using radio controlled cabs, a CTC dispatch center with radio connections to engineers, and phone connections to the Yardmaster and Stationmaster, responsible for operations within their respective areas.

The railroad is not currently run with a “fast clock” or car order system as it has just recently converted to DCC and members are familiarizing themselves with this new electronic equipment and operations over  this large, 5 district railroad.

In December 2012, the modules will make their annual appearance at the lower level of the barn at Fort Hunter.
